Effective Date: March 7, 2026
DateWize, operated by ConnectIT Technologies ("we", "us", or "our"), is committed to ensuring the safety of all individuals, especially minors. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This document outlines our standards, practices, and procedures for preventing, detecting, and responding to CSAE on our platform.
1. Zero-Tolerance Policy
DateWize strictly prohibits any content, behavior, or activity that sexually exploits or endangers children. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including images, videos, illustrations, or any visual depiction of minors in a sexual context.
- Solicitation or grooming of minors for sexual purposes.
- Sharing, distributing, or requesting CSAM or links to such content.
- Any communication that sexualizes minors or facilitates contact between adults and minors for exploitative purposes.
- Sextortion or coercion of minors.
- Any other conduct that promotes or facilitates the sexual exploitation or abuse of children.
Violations of this policy result in immediate and permanent account termination, with no exceptions.
2. Age Requirement and Verification
DateWize is an adults-only platform. To use our app, users must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Confirm their age during the registration process.
- Provide accurate personal information, including date of birth.
We do not knowingly allow minors to create accounts or access the platform. If we discover that a user is under 18 years of age, their account will be immediately suspended and all associated data will be deleted.
3. Content Moderation
We employ multiple layers of content moderation to detect and prevent CSAE material on our platform:
- Photo Review: All profile photos are subject to review. Photos that appear to depict minors or contain inappropriate content involving minors are immediately removed.
- Automated Detection: We use automated systems to scan for known CSAM using industry-standard hash-matching technology.
- Human Moderation: Our moderation team reviews flagged content and user reports to ensure swift and accurate enforcement of our policies.
- Profile Monitoring: Profiles and user-generated content are monitored for indicators of potential exploitation or grooming behavior.
4. Reporting Mechanisms
We provide multiple ways for users and the public to report suspected CSAE content or behavior:
- In-App Reporting: Users can report any profile or message by using the report function available on every profile and in every conversation. Reports are reviewed promptly by our moderation team.
- Email: Reports can be sent directly to datewizesupport@datewize.app. Include as much detail as possible, including the username or profile in question.
- Blocking: Users can immediately block any other user to prevent further contact.
All reports related to potential CSAE are treated as the highest priority and are reviewed as quickly as possible.
5. Response and Enforcement
When we identify or receive a report of potential CSAE, we take the following actions:
- Immediate Removal: Any content that constitutes or appears to constitute CSAM is immediately removed from the platform.
- Account Termination: The associated account is permanently banned with no option for reinstatement.
- Evidence Preservation: Relevant evidence is preserved in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
- Law Enforcement Reporting: We report all identified instances of CSAM and child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via their CyberTipline, as required by U.S. federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A). We fully cooperate with law enforcement investigations.
- User Notification: Where legally permissible, we may notify relevant parties to ensure the safety of any potential victims.
6. Cooperation with Law Enforcement
ConnectIT Technologies cooperates fully with law enforcement agencies investigating child exploitation. We will:
- Respond promptly to valid legal process, including subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants.
- Report all apparent violations of child exploitation laws to NCMEC and appropriate law enforcement agencies.
- Preserve account records and evidence as required by law or upon valid law enforcement request.
- Provide technical assistance to law enforcement as legally required and appropriate.
7. Employee and Contractor Training
All team members involved in content moderation, user support, or platform development are:
- Trained on recognizing indicators of CSAE and grooming behavior.
- Informed of their reporting obligations under applicable law.
- Subject to background checks where legally permissible.
- Required to follow our internal procedures for handling CSAE-related content and reports.
8. Prevention Measures
In addition to our detection and response capabilities, we take proactive steps to prevent CSAE on our platform:
- Age Gates: Users must confirm they are 18 or older before accessing the app.
- Community Guidelines: Our terms of use and community standards explicitly prohibit any form of child exploitation and are presented to all users during registration.
- Regular Audits: We regularly review our moderation practices, detection capabilities, and policies to ensure they remain effective and up to date.
- Industry Collaboration: We stay informed of industry best practices and emerging threats related to child safety online.
